Mode of Action
ADDBUX-40 belongs to a class of drug known as xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It is used to treat hyperuricemia (high levels of uric acid) in adults who have gout (a form of arthritis characterized by severe pain, redness and tenderness in joints). It occurs when too much uric acid crystallizes and deposits in the joints. ADDBUX-40 works by reducing the amount of uric acid made by the body & prevent uric acid crystallization & deposits in the joint.
Benefits & USAGE
ADDBUX-40 lowers uric acid level in patients with gout who have been treated with allopurinol that did not work well or cannot be treated with allopurinol. It helps to decrease symptoms of gout includes pain, swelling, redness, heat, soreness, and stiffness in certain joints.
